Based in France, Calvados 14: Ivory-colored miniature donkey foal with blue eyes Born May 13, 2026 Available for reservation Super friendly and people-oriented ++++ Naturally curious and trusting. Already has good conformation; his hocks are not closed, his legs are straight, and his teeth are well aligned. Will be sold Microchipped, neutered, first vaccination, with an ADR*** pedigree certificate from the American Miniature Donkey Society (ADMS). Our foals are born under surveillance (camera + breeder alert). The mothers receive regular care from a farrier, dentist, veterinarian, etc. They are regularly dewormed from a very young age. They are handled regularly. They leave with basic training (halter, leading, picking up their feet, leading over small obstacles, going on short walks (so given the presence of cars, machinery, and the outdoors, loading into a horsebox). We also give you a book on the basics of donkey care on the day of your reservation so you can prepare for their arrival, and we offer 4 hours of free lessons. Of course, we provide ongoing support throughout the donkey's life should you need any advice. INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPECIES: A donkey needs a castrated male or female of its own species to be happy. Sheep and goats are not suitable. They also need a specific diet (all donkeys are naturally insulin resistant). These breeds don't tolerate sugar well; no bread, no apples, only specific pellets... ) They need their hooves trimmed regularly (by a farrier 3 to 4 times a year), an annual check-up with an equine dentist, annual vaccinations, and deworming (4 times a year according to your veterinarian's schedule). They need shelter because their coat is not water-repellent. Donkeys bray and produce droppings (which can attract flies), so be sure to inform your neighbors about your plans. Donkeys are often territorial; their space must be secure to prevent other pets in the house from being chased away. A commitment and knowledge certificate will be signed on the day of booking. Transportation is your responsibility. 3200. *** (not purebred, dam miniature without American papers 87 cm at the withers, sire fully registered in the US 76 cm at the withers)
