Simply Red is a chestnut filly foal born in 2026, by Ohio de Peru out of a Big Star damsire. A foal with a particularly attractive, well-put-together model and plenty of blood. She canters very easily, is light-footed and tough, and has great balance in her canter. Sire Ohio de Peru is a striking Appaloosa stallion currently jumping at 1.20m level. He is a son of Con-Cor (Iniesta TN), performing internationally under Jose Antonio Chedraui Eguia. Damsire Big Star is world-famous and jumped 1.60m under Nick Skelton: individual Olympic gold in Rio 2016, team gold in London 2012 and winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen 2013. The dam Big Future is a daughter of Big Star. Further back in the damline there is plenty of international sport: Quanita (1.60m) Quirosa (1.60m) Curacao (1.55m). A foal from a true jumping damline. After the auction the foal stays with its dam and can be collected once it is around 4.5 months old and has been responsibly weaned.
