Nastro Azzurro

Gelding, born 2020

Dam sire: Indorado – Landwind II

Nastro Azzurro, known as “Nasse”, is a gelding standing approximately 175 cm. As he does not have overly big movement, he does not feel large to ride. (Rider is 160 cm.) He has been lightly competed up to 1.10 m with good results and has approached his tasks with a very positive attitude. Due to the owner’s limited time, he was started later than ideal, but his development curve, mindset, and capacity clearly indicate that he is a horse for bigger classes in the future.

He is pleasant to ride on the flat and uncomplicated. As he is still young and has grown a lot, he needs time to strengthen his body and fully mature. He always supports his rider and is very brave at the fences. He has plenty of scope and the right mindset for a rider aiming to progress to higher levels.

In handling, he is kind and straightforward, though we would prefer an experienced rider with a steady hand. He is easy to shoe and clip and behaves well at competitions. No injuries and offered for sale by the breeder.

His sire, Sea Coast Guinness, was ridden as a young horse by Bertram Allen and Harry Allen and is currently competing successfully at international 1.60 m level and World Cup classes with Gudrun Patteet. His dam, Ingris, has herself competed with placings up to 1.30 m and is a mare with great courage and intelligence.

He is stabled and in training with a competition rider based in Avesta, where he is available for viewing and further development.

Export X-rayed in 2022 without clinically significant findings. Veterinary inspected without remarks on 25.02.2026. Insured with Folksam.
