Allow us to introduce, A Brown Eyed Girl aka Pixie a gorgeous, double registered sorrel mare that has been successfully shown and has won money in the ranch classes. She has all the chrome and eye appeal you could possibly put on one and to top it off she was raised by Hilldale Farm. Pixie is sired by Heavy Duty Chex earner of over 140k and out of a daughter of the great Colonels Smoking Gun.
Pixie is a beautiful mover and is broke to death. She has a stylish long trot, a nice jog and she circles pretty. This flashy lady spins both directions side passes both ways and is light in her face and says soft as butter. This is a horse you can leave off for any amount of time and not have to worry about she will stay the same quiet, kind and gentle ride on even the coldest stays. Pixie is an old soul and has been a favorite for our little ones and the more novice riders around our barn. We have rode Pixie outside extensively to both trail ride and to gather cattle, she crosses water, and rocky terrain with ease, she’s even quiet and safe to ride through our busy little town. Pixie has no spook or bad habits and is extremely versatile. We have tried hard to find her limits and just never seem to, she has a huge heart and a tremendous amount of try. We have rode her everyday possible, bareback, double, triple, English western heck we have even used her to pony some colts she never tells you no.
