Electric Gunsmoke, affectionately called Monty, is a sorrel overo Paint Horse colt born on July 27, 2026. His striking markings and two blue eyes immediately catch the eye. He is a handsome, well-built little guy who has developed very nicely so far. Monty is strong, well-muscled, and correctly conformed, with beautiful proportions and proper hooves. His estimated final height will be around 15.2 hands. His movement is already quite good. Monty is characterized by a gentle and uncomplicated nature. He is friendly, curious, and open, enjoys human contact, and loves to be petted. As he is handled daily, he is already familiar with normal handling routines and shows attentiveness and willingness to learn. Halter training is part of his daily routine, and he is gradually learning the basics of ground manners. He is also being introduced to trailer loading in a calm and playful manner. He is raised appropriately for his age in an outdoor paddock with a mixed herd and plenty of family contact. From the start, he has been exposed to various everyday sights and sounds, including dogs, cats, chickens, tractors, and more. Before leaving, he will be dewormed in accordance with his age and will be familiar with the veterinarian and farrier. His sire is CS Electricstarlight, and his dam is Lenas Finaly Gun. His pedigree includes interesting lines from both the Paint Horse and Quarter Horse breeds. On the sire’s side, he has a good reining lineage, while on the dam’s side, he has a solid all-round pedigree. This provides a strong foundation for his future training. Whether he will become a leisure horse or perhaps compete in the future remains to be seen. Monty has all the qualities one wishes for in a young prospect. He will be sold with APHA papers and an equine passport. It is important that he finds a suitable person and a loving home. After the sale, he can stay longer if needed, allowing him to be weaned from his mother gradually and in a stress-free manner. Ideally, Monty will find people who enjoy guiding a young horse on its journey and who are looking for a special, people-oriented partner for the future.
