Hi, I am Aponi (Native American = Butterfly). I was born in April 2023 and I am a very sweet mare with a lot of "will to please." I really enjoy communicating in a gentle way and am particularly affectionate, willing to do almost anything for my human. Therefore, I am looking for an owner with a lot of heart and horse sense.

My dad is the double-registered "Black Starbuck" (1.54). My father is Black Starbuck, a 154 cm tall Quarter Horse stallion with an excellent pedigree (Hollywood Dun It, Colonels Smoking Gun, Katie Gun ...) and my mother is a Magic On Ice daughter named "Magic Snoflower" (1.53). I am a Smokey Black Tovero filly with two bright blue eyes, with an Equine Passport and APHA papers, which I will bring along when I move. In terms of character, I am very sensitive and open, making me suitable for people who do not wish to be too dominant but prefer subtle communication. My new owner should have a gentle touch with me and enjoy cuddling, as well as explaining everything important in my training fairly; then my later training as a riding horse will surely be a lot of joy.

At the moment, I live in a paddock trail facility and I enjoy my freedom. Within the herd, I am taught proper behavior and can explore my boundaries and romp around in the pasture. I wish for my future owner to maintain my freedom – I do not want to live alone in a (run-in) box with a small paddock and rationed hay. I would rather stay with my herd.

Aponi is regularly dewormed, vaccinated, introduced to the farrier, and is now learning the basics of groundwork. We place great importance on our horses being well-mannered, easily manageable, and friendly.
