Entrepreneur and former show jumper Paul Schockemöhle takes in ukrainian refugees in Lewitz.

Paul Schockemöhle rescues ukranian women and children and brings them to the north-east of Germany near his stud farm. On Thursday, the first bus with refugees from Ukraine arrived in Lewitz. They are living very close to the Lewitzer Stud in a hotel that has been reserved for them by Paul Schockemöhle. In addition to accommodation, the stud also offers them full board. A lorry full of donations in kind also made its way to the Lewitzer Stud last Thursday.
The second bus is already planned and organised for this week. And even then, everyone will welcome and help them with open arms. The stud farm posts on Facebook:”In difficult times, humanity and compassion as well as togetherness is the most important thing we can do! Many thanks to all helpers, donors and of course to our boss, Paul Schockemöhle, who is personally paying for everything here.”
