"""Mattie"" is a super sweet mare ready for her next home! 
She is an 8 year old AQHA Mare, standing 15.1hh and stout. She is a beautiful bay roan with unique markings throughout her body, a brand, and a coon tail. Mattie has been in a professional trainer's program for two years full time while being shown by an amateur rider. She has successfully shown in various ranch events, including ranch rail, ranch riding, ranch showmanship, ranch trail, ranch reining, halter, boxing, and box drive box cattle classes as well. She has earned multiple weekend Champion and Reserve Champion titles! 
At home, Mattie is the easiest horse in the barn in terms of care. She is the epitome of ""fat on air"" and can be stalled or turned out with other horses. She will run to the gate to greet you in the pasture! In the stall she is quiet and has zero bad habits. She is not on any medications. She was shod all the way around during show season, but has been barefoot for two months now and is still 100% sound. 
She is extremely personable and her personality does not change whatsoever when she is in heat. She loves to be groomed and will stand quietly tied or on the cross ties. She also does all of the other basics such as bathing, clipping, great for the vet and farrier, and will load right onto a horse trailer.
She is an easy push ride under saddle and about as broke as they come! She has all the bells and whistles and could continue showing in the ranch or cattle classes. She's WTL and has all of the extended gaits for ranch, will open gates, drag a log, spin, sidepass, and has the start of a lead change. She has some experience in competition sorting and we have also pasture sorted cattle with her as well! 
She has some trail experience in a group setting. She is forward on the trail but quiet and will go all day! 
She would excel in a show home, family riding setting, or produce some nice foals!"
