Introducing Dandee, a 3-year-old registered 15.2-hand buckskin filly!
We call her Dandee, and she’s our go-to mount, whether we’re doing a day’s work on the ranch or just enjoying a relaxing trail ride. She’ll ride out alone or in a group either way, it doesn’t bother her one bit. Dandee is traffic-safe and used to being around kids, dogs, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys. She’s had riders ranging from 8 to 70 years old, and they’ve all gotten along with her. While trail riding, she’ll go through or over any obstacles you encounter. You can ride her once a week or once a month, and she’ll be the same every time, giving you no trouble. She’ll take her correct leads when asked and will back up softly and collected. Dandee has roped several calves in the pasture and stands quietly for saddling, bridling, and grooming. She loads and unloads from the trailer with ease and stands perfectly for the farrier. Dandee also gets along well with others in the pasture. If you’re looking for a gentle trail horse that’s been there and done that, don’t pass her up! She is located in Brownstown, Illinois.
