Marvin is a stout built draftcross gelding standing around 16.2hh, he is 4 years old and is a beautiful JET BLACK color. Marvin has been in our program for over a year and has completed the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, he will bow, lay down and set on his rump. Marvin has been ridden by every member of the family from 4 years old all the way up to dad. He has been ridden down the highways and is very traffic safe. Marvin has been used around a feedlot where he has sorted and penned cattle. He is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Marvin is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. In addition to riding, Marvin has also been driven down the highways.
