Here's one cool dude!! Ja Olena Valentine, also known as Baxter, is a beautiful registered 14 yr. old bay roan gelding that is very well broke to ride and built like a brick house. He has a true one hand neck rein and he'll side pass to open and close gates. You can rope a bull and he'll drag it, he's been used to doctoring cattle, checking pasture fences, and all kinds of ranch work that you can do on horseback.
Baxter is also an excellent trail horse that will go through water and over logs, through the brush and all. He is not spooky on the trails, and we've met up with deer and other wildlife and it doesn't bother him. He’s also been ridden on the main highway and doesn't mind the big semi's, loud motorcycles, or log trucks. Baxter has also been hauled to state parks for trail riding and he loads and trailers well. Baxter will ride in a group or will also ride out alone with no problem; in a group he'll lead or follow.
Baxter will also ride in the arena and knows his leads, he has a nice smooth walk-trot-canter and a one-step lope. He will also rides bridless if you wish. He'll play bounce ball, crack a bullwhip and drag a tarp too! He's got all the buttons, yet he is not complicated to ride and has been ridden by our 8 yr. old son on trail rides. Baxter sells 100% sound with no vices or bad habits. He will come up to you in the pasture and loves attention. He gets along well with other horses, both mares and geldings.
Baxter is up-to-date on farrier and dental as well dewormer and has a current Coggins.
