Just in time for Christmas!!! Jalapeno is a 14H, 14 year old buckskin quarter horse cross gelding. Jalapeno will be sold unreserved to the highest bidder!!! Don’t miss out on this one! He rides just like a big horse, but he is a very comfortable and confidence building height – he is comfy, cozy to sit on and makes anyone feel at ease. He has taught many riders to ride and is as solid as they come! He is just the perfect height, a smooth mover – and very stout made. Super fancy mover and jumper and he spent the first half of his life in the pony hunter ring. His last rider just did local shows and dressage and tons of clinics and trail rides. He has been to the beach, the mountains, and also in many parades and trips to town. We have used him in our lesson program and he is the same horse, every single time. Super tolerant of anything you throw at him. The kids have played this weird soccer/football game combination with boys on the ground and girls on horses, many times this fall during football season – and he literally has zero cares to give about all their nonsense and shenanigans. He stands tied, is good for the vet and the farrier, loves a bath, easy to load and haul, saddle, bridle, and stands dead still for mount and dismount. Jalapeno was just shod 2 weeks ago, but has spent most of his life barefoot and has great feet! His teeth were just done by an equine dentist last month, and he also had his sheath cleaned and was also power packed wormed at that time. If his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, then we can have his shoes pulled and feet freshly trimmed prior to him leaving for his new home.
