Meet Flinn- A big, beautiful, grey with dapples for days, 11yr old 15 hands tall gelding. This is a gelding with a ton of eye appeal that will definitely get you noticed on any trail ride, feed yard, play day event, etc.
With such a big kind eye, and that forgiving, friendly personality this is a horse who you’ll want to call your best friend. Flinn has amazing stall/turnout manners, and keeps that same cool, calm, and collected attitude 7 days out of the week. He is a well-rounded, stout, sure footed gelding with good bone structure- therefore sturdy and strong is something he has covered! He is the type of gelding who will meet you at the gate to be caught, and craves attention from anyone who will give it.
With his easy disposition the gelding makes it enjoyable to ride and user friendly. He has nice, comfortable gaits that anyone can enjoy. Flinn definitely has more whoa than go, which makes him ideal for someone a nice flashy trail horse deluxe! He can handle any terrain on the ride- from wooded narrow trails, to muddy steep inclines, to even rocky hills and falling down logs, to rough waters. You name it and he’ll keep you safe while doing it all with a calm attitude. Even though slow is his preferred speed, if called on, he will carry out any job asked. We have used him for light ranch work, such as to sort on at the feed yard, load semi’s morning and night, and carried out calves on him and he handles it all like a champ. Flinn has been rode by several kids and he has never shied away at taking care of them, like he would any rider that swings a leg over him. With his quiet, kind soul he has all the potential to be a nice family horse.
On the ground Flinn bathes, loads, and ties amazingly with no issues. He stands good for the farrier and hauls quiet and well. He does good with other horses, whether that be turned out or on a ride. This overall is a nice, well-behaved gelding with all the looks to get you noticed anywhere you go, and a personality to drool over!
