Pilgrim is a unique boy with his LONG silver mane and tail. He has all the color and shape to turn every head anywhere you go! Pilgrim stands at 14.3 HH and is at the prime age of 9 years old. This gorgeous boy has lots of experience on a cattle ranch been used in all aspects of ranch work from traveling many miles gathering to sorting and branding cattle in the corrals. He has been trail ridden long miles in multiple states and he has seen everything possible on the trails. Pilgrim has encountered every obstacle possible, he goes up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while being sure footed. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate effortlessly rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog and a very nice rocking chair canter. Pilgrim has had some reining training in his early years and will turn around both ways on his hind end and rides without a bridle just as good as with one. His ground manners are excellent as he will clip, bathe, tack-up, load, handle with zero to no effort and is easy to catch in the pasture, which he prefers. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer, turkeys, and pigs and other farm animals as in goats, dogs and chicken.. He is not afraid of balls, tarps or flags. He has been ridden in a few parades down town with crowded, loud streets and is a saint! He is great around rushing traffic and obnoxious noises he will just walk along with no problems at all. Pilgrim is not cinchy, and will never be cold backed. He is gonna be the same horse ever time you ride him no matter the time between rides.
