For sale is a 6-year-old English Thoroughbred mare who has been gently retrained by me with professional support into a versatile leisure horse after her racing career.

I have found my way into riding and competition sports with her. However, Ellen is more of a laid-back type. We have participated in show jumping competitions up to the A** class and have placed in E show jumping. Higher show jumping classes do not suit her, and I would like to compete a bit more.

Ellen has a heart of gold and is absolutely well-behaved, people-oriented, and uncomplicated in handling. She confidently goes out alone in the terrain/in the arena/on the riding ground and is completely unflappable. We have already taken several trips to the mudflats. Even in a group, she remains calm and does not get too excited. She is familiar with the farrier, veterinarian, loading, and trailer riding.

It is important to know that Ellen unfortunately winds-sucks. This is particularly the case in the stable. Due to her windsucking, we are looking for a place with open stable housing for her. Therefore, placement is more important than price! Installment payments are not possible.
