Meet Tito, a stunning 11yr old buckskin gelding standing 13.2 hands. I truly can’t put into words how cool this guy is. Tito has been apart of our family for quite some time now, and I can’t say enough good things about him.
He is a well trained and honest gelding- he is the perfect size for a kid looking for a step up pony or even an adult to hop on and ride. He is built well with great confirmation and good bone structure too. Aside from his physical appearance, Tito has great ground manners- he stands to be bathed, groomed, and tacked magnificently. He stands for the farrier and trailers/hauls well.
This is a brilliant, yet beautiful dappled buckskin gelding with a very intelligent mind.
We have done everything imaginable on Tito and he takes it all like a pro. This is a pony who knows what a job is, and can handle a full days work. We have carried out calves and even lightly pasture roped off him. Along with sorting and gathering cattle. He has no problem keeping up with the bigger horses- He will last you all day long, while giving you his whole heart every step of the way. He knows his leads, and has a nice smooth lope. This gelding gets used regularly on our place and has been a go-to staple for myself for quite sometime.
He even has a few tricks up his sleeve! Tito is trained to lay down on command- from his back or on the ground. Just cue him and he will gently lay down for one to get on and off his back. He is also broke to drive as well!
Tito makes a fun trail horse too. We have used him extensively on many trail rides. He is sturdy and sure footed, which makes blazing down a steep or narrow trail a breeze. He always makes sure his rider is safe- he knows when to take it easy in certain situations. He isn’t scared to cross deep water, falling down trees, and ditches. He was even used last summer on an overnight camping trip on the Buffalo River, where he was rode by adults and children.
Overall, I feel Tito would make a great lifelong friend to almost anyone’s family/ranch. He is the right age, and has an intelligent mindset. He has no vices or bad habits what so ever. He has a current coggins and we also had a recent ppe done, which we will provide all the paperwork on!
