Beautiful young mare available

Amapola de Fuerza or 'Pol' as we call her is a beautiful mare born and bred in Spain. She is a full PRE and comes with official papers/carta from the ANCCE (but I’m not able to get rid of the ‘mix’ notation in this add for some reason). She was born October 2020 and joined us in the Netherlands when she was little over a year old (baby and family pics included). Pol has a lovely buckskin coat that's warm and golden in summer and turns a slightly lighter champagne in winter. She comes equipped with a baroque build and a beautiful conformation. Currently, she measures an estimated 1.60/1.61.

Pol has always lived in a herd/group environment and has excellent social skills. She is an easy going horse in a herd and affectionate and devoted with people. She has a lively and funny character (e.g. taking a swim in the paddock pool fully clothed, stalking humans for attention in the paddock). We have acquainted her a bit with being in a stable but she does not enjoy being alone and cooped up much (which she let us know by repeatedly jumping a 1.5 m stable door until we closed the top door to keep her in. She is an opinionated horse).

She was started in basic groundwork and handling early on and slowly & gently trained as a riding horse when she was almost 4 years old. We left her to play with her horse friends over the winter and resumed training this spring. Pol has been a quick study and is eager to work with you. She is reactive and responds well to light instructions. While definitely a high energy horse, she is surprisingly well behaved under the saddle and a lovely ride (the 'high energy' will mostly show on her more eager days while grooming/saddling/mounting. She is still a bit of a baby and has a hard time standing still when excited. She can also be explosive in the turnout paddock). At this time Pol knows all the dressage basics and a few sidewards steps. We are training her in the riding pen, out in the field and have taken her of premis a few times. Also, as she is known to enjoy jumping stable doors, she did her first mini jumps under the saddle recently (loves it).
She's  been regularly clipped, dewormed, vaccinated against flu/tetanus and had her first appointment with the dentist.

Pol is looking for an experienced rider for her who:
- Can offer her plenty of exercise and variety;
- Is aware she is still a bit of a baby and needs guidance and patience;
- Is used to working with high energy/young horses;
- Preferably has a home in a Paddock Paradise/herd enclosure for her;
- Will offer her a long-term loving home;

Please note that we will not sell her to dealers and is not a suitable horse for inexperienced or young riders.
