Polo-Stute (20 Jahre, erfahrene Veteranin)

Wir bieten unsere 19-jährige argentinische Polo-Stute zum Verkauf an – ein guter Platz ist uns definitiv wichtiger als der Preis. Sie ist eine erfahrene Veteranin in diesem Sport und hat auf mittlerem Niveau in Europa gespielt.

Heute spielt sie noch lockeres Polo, eignet sich aber auch hervorragend als Familienpferd und für Ausritte im Gelände. Sie lebt im Offenstall mit anderen Pferden, ist weder ranghoch noch aggressiv, kennt Box und Anhänger, ist sehr geduldig beim Satteln, hat ein sensibles Maul und ist äußerst intelligent.

Der Grund für den Verkauf ist, dass wir ihr einen schönen Ruhestand gönnen möchten – bei Menschen, die sie wie ein Familienmitglied behandeln (wie wir bisher).

Zu ihrem Gesundheitszustand:

An den Beinen erkennt man, dass sie Polo gespielt hat, sie ist aber noch fit und wird regelmäßig geritten.
Sie hat ein Augenproblem auf einem Auge und benötigt zwei bis drei Mal täglich Augentropfen. Auf Wunsch wären wir bereit, das Auge operativ entfernen zu lassen, falls ernsthaftes Interesse besteht.
Keine Koliken oder andere Erkrankungen in der Vergangenheit.
Sie ist vorne und hinten beschlagen.
Zähne werden jährlich vom Tierarzt gemacht, Impfpass ist auf dem neuesten Stand.
Vom Charakter her lieb, nicht schreckhaft, familienfreundlich und geduldig.

Ein Proberitt/Kennenlernen ist selbstverständlich möglich.


For Sale – Polo Mare (19, Experienced Veteran)

We are offering our 20-year-old Argentine Polo mare for sale at a reasonable price – a good home is definitely more important to us than the price. An experienced veteran of the sport, she has played at medium level in Europe and is still in regular, light work.

Nowadays, she enjoys relaxed polo but is equally well-suited as family horse and for trail riding and hacking out. She lives happily in a herd in open stabling, is neither dominant nor aggressive, and is easy to handle in both the stable and trailer. She is patient to tack up, has a soft mouth, and is highly intelligent.

We are looking for a loving home where she can enjoy a well-deserved retirement and be treated like part of the family (like we have been treating her).

Health & Care:

Her legs show signs of a polo career, but she remains fit and is ridden regularly.
She has an issue with one eye that requires eye drops 2–3 times daily. If seriously interested, we would consider having the eye removed surgically.
No history of colics or other illnesses.
Shod front and back.
Teeth are done annually by the vet; vaccinations are up to date.
Temperament: Gentle, not spooky, family-friendly, and very patient.

A trial ride or visit is, of course, possible and welcome.
