HP Colonel Jackson, aka (Roman), is a 2018, 14.3-hand APHA ATHLETIC AND TALENTED ranch horse. He has a steady, quiet, been there, and done-that personality but also has to get up and go when asked. He can be quick and catty! He has a competitive personality and loves to work.

Roman Trail rides out well on a loose rein with or without a buddy and handles all obstacles like a pro!
Roman is a fun ride and quiet enough for younger riders who like moving out or looking for their next step-up horse!
He has been used to gather, sort, and drag things on the ranch. This horse does his job well while still being quiet and level-headed.
Roman backs up, has a great rollback, and is learning flying lead changes and collection.
Roman has smooth transitions and walks, trots, and lopes nice circles. Roman has a nice soft mouth, has the beginning of neck reining, and has a quick stop.

Roman has super ground manners. He is quiet to catch, lead, load, haul, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, and bridle. He stands tied anywhere, stands still for mount and dismount, and is great for the vet and the farrier. He has been ridden out alone, in groups, down the side of the road, and hauled to arenas for some events. He is solid in town and handles traffic and commotion like a superstar!

This is a very relaxed, sweet, well broke gelding that is uncomplicated enough for just about anyone to get along with but has enough buttons for a more experienced rider to take far as a ranch, sorting horse, 1/D barrel horse prospect, or just about anything else you could think of!
