Smarty Marty is a 5 year old Irish Sport Horse gelding. Marty is an absolute delight not only to ride but to be around. This boy wants to be your best friend and is always happy to greet you at the pasture gate. He stands a solid 16.1hh. Marty is an extremely versatile horse. He will walk, trot, and canter with a tap of your heel and stops with a simple word of whoa. He’s very light on his feet and soft in your hand. Marty is as smooth as a couch and his gaits are all balanced. He is a substantially made guy who is very athletic. He has great bone structure and nice big solid hooves. He stands for the farrier. Marty has a beautiful face and a pleasant eye. He has a calm but yet willing nature. Take him out on the trails, down the road, a hack out in the field, or a ride in the arena he is an easy going guy. Marty would make an amazing hunt horse. He is great with kids and adults alike and will make you want to get out and ride. This is the type who can carry a bigger person as he takes up a lot of his rider’s leg. Marty loves to jump. Every jump inside, outside, fill or just a plain pole he jumps picture perfect. He has a great hunter canter and is just delightful to watch go and even more fun to ride. He stands tied for anything, anywhere. Here’s a versatile horse who one’s grandpa can take out on a fox hunt while a youth rider can take him to a show the next day.
