Gambler has been used to gather cattle in the pasture, roped off of, and confidently navigates any obstacle in his path. He’s been on countless trail rides, through town, down busy roads, and even to the lake, where he’s been fished on. He’ll happily go wherever you point him, with a calm, willing attitude every time.
Gambler is also broke to drive and looks absolutely adorable under harness. He is traffic safe, easy to hook and handle, and drives like a dream. Our five-year-old nephew drives him with confidence, and Gambler takes it all in stride—even with a wagon full of dogs or noise and activity around him. He is truly one of the most dependable ponies we’ve had the pleasure of owning.
He is trained to lay down on command, stands perfectly for grooming, bathing, the farrier, and saddling, and loves attention. He has been climbed on like a jungle gym by kids of all ages and never minds a bit—he is as patient and tolerant as they come.
