Moonshine is the pony every parent hopes for and every kid falls head over heels with. This gelding is built like a little Quarter Horse — thick, correct, and absolutely adorable — but with all the pony charm. He’s been ridden by kids as young as four and is currently the full-time partner of a seven-year-old girl who is proudly training and offering him for s@le as her first project pony. Moonshine is a true all-arounder with experience in just about everything. He’s been trail ridden, moved cows, gone down the road, competed at barrel races and Gymkhanas, gone over jumps, and navigated extensive obstacle courses — including teeter-totters, water boxes, and moving bridges. He’s had tarps dragged, flags waved, and ropes swung off him — and he takes it all in stride. He rides English, western, bareback, or however you fancy to ride him that day. He’s super cute over fences, honest to the jumps, and has the kind, steady personality that would make him an excellent Pony Club mount. This pony is safe, sane, and sweet. He’s gentle to handle, loves attention, and is patient with little riders on the ground and in the saddle. He can be led, caught, groomed, tacked, loaded/unloaded, and handled entirely by the kids without help. Moonshine is the kind of pony that builds confidence — whether your child needs a steady lead liner or is ready to ride out and learn. He has three nice gaits and a go-with-the-flow attitude that makes him incredibly versatile. He’s not spooky, handles new environments great, and has never had a soundness issue. He does have small cosmetic scars on his nose and front right foot, which are purely superficial and do not cause him any problems. Otherwise, he is blemish-free. Moonshine is happy to do whatever is asked of him and always tries to please.
