Stella is a 10 year old paint mare pony. She is 38 inches tall. This is the pony that changed it all for us. Stella is the one that taught my oldest everything and if I’m being honest she taught me (the mom) so much too. She has been with us for years and is the one that made my daughter into the independent, confident, fearless rider she is. She tolerated Lainey being “heavy-handed on her head” and us tightening her too tight. She allowed my daughter to go in her first grand entry riding independently, her first parade. She was the first pony my daughter loped alone and did playdays alone on. Lainey has done everything under the sun on her and rode her countless miles. Stella allowed my girl to do everything on her own without having to be led or helped in anyway. Stella has won Lainey multiple belt buckles, has been a “jumping” pony when she was going through a phase of wanting to be an English rider, she has loped her wide open across the pasture, been in numerous grand enteries, parades, has done every playday event a thousand times, she has rode her down the road alone, “ponyed”/led her little sister on another pony, rode her into the playhouse, spent countless hours bathing, grooming, sitting with her and so much more. Stella has literally done it all. She will go the speed you ask her to. She is easy to get to walk, trot and lope. She doesn’t get hyper or over excited.. she will walk calmly in the arena and will just walk the entire event if you want, or lope as fast as her little legs can go. She is the same whether you ride her everyday or once a year. She isn’t spooky whatsoever. She does extremely well by traffic, loud noises, choas, dogs, other animals, etc. You can trust turning your little one free on a busy street knowing Stella will listen and keep them safe. She is an easy keeper and has done good with us through the harsh winters when we’ve had snow/ice storms here in Texas. She isn’t buddy or barn sour. She will ride off alone anywhere the kid wants to go. She is safe to ride on trails and will go through water. She loads in the trailer easy. She truly is one in a million type of pony.
