Jökull is a friendly, yet rather reserved horse of medium temperament, who arrived in Germany from Iceland at the end of 2023. He is currently kept in a paddock with three other geldings and quickly became the highest-ranking among them. He is confident and very social.  
He enjoys going out on trails and shows a willing walk and a lively trot. At the moment, he is being ridden once a week by an Icelandic horse trainer and is worked from the ground about two to three times a week. Tölt is present but should be trained carefully. For longer rides, Jökull still needs better muscle development and therefore consistent training. He always participates very well in the riding arena and learns quickly. However, he can sometimes be unsettled by loud noises, so he needs a person who can provide him with security.  
His summer eczema can be very well managed with an eczema blanket.  
I am selling Jökull for personal reasons, as I unfortunately lack the experience to work with him consistently. If you are interested in Jökull, you should have good riding skills, preferably with Icelandic horses. Jökull is not suitable for beginner riders. It is important to me that Jökull goes to good hands and feels comfortable with his new owner.  

For those interested, a fee of 30 euros is charged for trial riding to avoid riding tourism. This amount will be deducted from the purchase price.
