Princeton is a 6 year old Friesian x Paint Horse gelding standing 14.3 hands high. Princeton is absolutely one of a kind, and what every equestrian dreams of. He checks absolutely every box; Educated, experienced, kind, forgiving, safe, sensible, and above all, beautiful. He is simply dreamy, in every way! Absolutely any level or age of rider will be able to safely enjoy him. He is impossible not to fall in love with, both in the saddle, and on the ground. In the saddle, you will be smiling from ear to ear. He is the perfect horse to de-stress with, learn on, grow with, and enjoy for years and years to come. On the ground, you will fall in love instantly with his silly and sweet personality. He is always giving kisses, nuzzling you, and following you around the barn and fields. Princeton is a rare find, horses like him are truly once in a lifetime. Whether you want to bring home the blues in the show ring, hunt, hit the trails, or all of the above, Princeton is ready to be a tried and true parter with you!
In the ring, Princeton is a dream. English, western, or bareback and bridleless, he is everything you could ask for and more. His canter is one you will want to ride all day long. He is uphill and soft in the bridle, likes to be correct and round, and has every button you could ever want. He knows all of the lateral work, side passing, leg yields, and more. He pivots, has a nice big stop, and near perfect transitions. You will love schooling his walk to canter transition! He has his flying charges, and easily puts together second level dressage tests. Princeton does weekly lessons with the kids, goes off property weekly for working equitation schooling, and can do all of that and more without a bridle! Boy can this horse jump! He is by far one of the most enjoyable horses we have ever had on the cross country field. He is brave, smart, and just feels good beneath you. Nothing beats a horse that makes you feel secure and confident, no matter the fence in front of you. Whether it's teaching the kids or timid adults, schooling new things, or just going for a hack, we have never seen a rider come out of the ring without a huge smile on their face!
On the trails and off property, Princeton is reliable and safe. If you don't like getting attention, don't take this horse out because you will absolutely be at the center on his back! At every off property school, clinic, lesson, and trail ride, Princeton is the talking point for his good looks and even better behavior. He is a good boy on the trailer and is very used to going new places. He steps off ready to work and up for any adventure. On the trails, Princeton is sure footed and point and shoot. Whether you want to hunt first field, tackle mountainous terrain for a camping trip, or just ride out around the farm with friends after a long day at work, Princeton will happily take care of his rider. He crosses any obstacle, water, logs, is safe in traffic, and doesn't mind other livestock or commotion.
In the barn, you cannot help but love this horse. He is Mr. Personality, has great manners, and is a total love bug. To know him is to love him, he makes coming to the barn just a little extra fun every day knowing that he will be there, first to the gate, to greet and nuzzle you. He is well behaved for all of the usual barn tasks, and is used to the kids climbing all over him on a daily basis. He has a mane and tail that would make Rapunzel jealous, and he loves to stand and lick you while you braid and brush him. Princeton is an easy keeper that requires no maintenance, has no quirks, and is a complete joy in every way.
