Chief is a cool gelding, flashy, handy, gentle and kind too! We get lots of calls looking for that one of a kind horse and Chief is just that. He is very handy around the ranch he's ready to do any job you have for him from working cattle to babysitting the grand kids he has you covered. This horse is truly a one of a kind gelding. We have used him to gather sort and brand calves. He's the type of horse you can be using doing a ranch job, step off and put the kids on and he switches gears that fast and goes right to work taking care of the kids. Chief is soft and supple works off his hind end lops soft collected circles and is a true pleasure to ride. Out on the trail Chief is so much fun to ride and he is ready for any place you want to go and he loves attention so he's always happy to be where you are. He is fantastic in a mixed heard and has been exposed to all kinds of livestock from cattle to emus and water buffalo, he's confident in everything you ask him to do. He takes time off well. He is friendly and easy to catch. He loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. Our 3 year old daughter Mariah just loves Chief and he takes the best care of her. He is 14.2 hands and weighs 1050lbs. He has no vices or bad habits. Chief is up to date on all vet and dental work. We did a basic PPE and welcome you to do your own PPE.
