Shiner is an extremely fancy 6 year old, 15 hand, AQHA palomino gelding. He is a grandson of dual Rey and out of a Shining Spark/Playgun mare. He has been used on the ranch to doctor and gather cattle on long drives. He has an extremely kind disposition and easy to get along with. Shiner is very athletic and would excel as a barrel horse or rope horse in arena. He is very willing and smart and wants to work and please his rider. He is a very smooth mover and has good strides, this gelding has tons of potential! Shiner is easy to grab out of the pasture on a cold day or he can sit for long periods of time off and will not buck or show any sign of freshness. Has an easy way about himself. He understands leads and collection, can open gates, and he has doctored a few outside cattle. He is extremely gentle in high pressure situations. Shiner would suite any level of rider and would be a pleasure for anyone to own and enjoy. He is very sweet, loves attention, good to catch, good for farrier and vet. He has a nice, laid back personality to be around, good to load/unload and haul, stands tied, good for baths and clippers, and is good with other horses. Shiner is an easy keeper that requires no special care or maintenance. He has his entire life ahead of him and is looking for his forever home!
