Smart Chica Nic is one FANCY gelding that does it all topped with excellent conformation, wonderful disposition and a top of the line pedigree. He is an own son of the great Smart Chic Olena out of a Daughter of Reminic. Doc himself is an NRHA money earner, has AQHA points in VRH ~ Ranch Cutting, Ranch Riding, & Ranch Reining. He has been show both by amateurs and youth. Not only is Doc a good show horse he has had a real ranch job. He rides excellent outside and seen many miles on the ranch, in the mountains and has experience with all the ranch jobs. We have roped on him and he knows how to handle the rope to be a handy partner to get any job done. Out on the trail he is a point and go type of horse, goes where you ask him, sure footed, solid and safe in rough and rocky terrain. He is happy to ride in a group or he will ride off alone. He has seen all the wildlife and nothing bothers him. We loaned Doc to a young lady to do queen events with this year and he done very well for her and she has learned a lot from him. He has been rode in parades and in the grand entry to carry Old Glory into the Cody Nite Rodeo. Doc is solid broke and so well trained, ride him once a month or every day and he has always the same horse. He loves people and attention, easy to catch and just get on and go, no warm up needed. Doc has all the buttons and cues you would ever want but he is kind and easy to ride. He is super smooth, level headed and an easy way of moving makes him so much fun. Doc will ride bare back and bridle-less, lopes out of his tracks slow and correct. He soft in the bridle, moves easily off your seat and legs, side passes, excellent flying lead changes, correct spins and hunts a stop. He will work a cow whether you need to cut one out of the herd or rope it he puts you where you need to be and makes your job fun and easy. Doc has been ridden by the whole family, all ages and skill levels both in the arena and out on the trail. We have also given lessons on him. Doc is happy in a stall, no cribbing, weaving or chewing. He is also good outside in a corral with the other horses. He is excellent to bathe, good for the clippers, stands for the farrier and good for the vet. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. He is 5 panel N/N. Be sure to watch his video, he speaks for himself. Give us a call and we will be glad to tell you more about Doc or come out to the ranch and take him for a ride. PPEs are welcome at buyer's expense. FMI call 307-250-0900.
