Lonestar is a gentle 13 year old Buttermilk Buckskin Quarter Horse Gelding. He is all around quiet, gentle guy. He is built to carry any size of rider with his stocky, athletic build. He can ride out alone or in a group. You can put him with or around anything and he gets along with it from, little ponies, dogs, and other horses just great. Low man in pecking order. This sweet, gentle guy is sure to be somebody's main mount. Lonestar is in great health, he is kept up on worming, vaccinations, and recently had his teeth done.
In his past, he was a finished ranch horse and worked with cattle. He has a one handed neck rein, he has a awesome lope , side passes, backs it up, and will stop on a dime .
Since then, he has been a good family trail horse, you point him in the direction you want to go and he goes! He trail rides confidently through water, up and over hills, he’s got you! this guy can go all day! Set him on cruse control and ride.
He has been exposed and around machinery and equipment, example, garbage trucks, tractors, forklifts, cars and etc. and handles it like a champ!
He ground ties like a saint. He tacks up, trailer loads, bathes, will lower his head for you to fly mask him, and picks up his feet like butter. He stands for the farrier just as patient as can be, with no issues, couldn’t ask for more. His ground manners are great!
Lonestar, is a all around a super gentle trail riding guy! He can be your main mount!!!!
