Buck is a 11y.o. 16 hand quarter horse gelding. This guy is unique and awesome! He was purchased in 2021 from a working ranch to be a husband horse for a big guy that lets just say wanted to trail ride with his family but is not a “rider”. Buck took him to the ocean, the mountains, the open fields and even night time play days in different arenas. This went on for a bit over a year before the husband decided that antique cars were more his thing. So Buck sat for a bit until the family decided he needed a job and they taught him to ride English and jump which he took to very fast and was fabulous! As the next year went on that faded also. So Buck has now been jobless for about 2 years and is desperate for something to do. He is a cowboy horse at heart but will do about anything. He is big, stout, and just loves his grooming and attention. He turns out in big groups or alone. He has most recently been out with 12 miniature horses and several full size. He is good barefoot or with shoes, gets minimal grain, loves grass and is hearty and healthy. This big guy just wants to work or at least get the attention they all deserve. Buck is easy to groom, saddle, great with cattle, dogs and other horses. You won’t find a more hearty, kind one in many places.
