Meet “Alvin”! He is a handsome dark buckskin that is built right and made to last! He has great manners and stays GENTLE! He is registered, only 10 years old and stands 15 hands tall. He is one hand broke, picks up both leads, and is smooth to ride whether it is in an arena, downtown, in the pasture, or out on the trails. Take this gelding in a group or out by himself and he goes wherever you point him. He has a friendly personality and is easy to catch anywhere.
While he’s mostly been a trail rider, he has been used outside recently doctoring cattle. He has a lot of cattle sense and pays attention to the task in front of him. We’ve also trotted him through the barrels and poles and he took to them well. He will do anything you ask of him with confidence.
He picks up all four feet willingly, ground ties while grooming and saddling and doctoring, hauls great, and blankets easily. He is an easy keeper and gets along well with other horses, in a stall, or turned out, and is up to date on everything.
