All Four Jazz (Aspen) is a stocky built, gelding standing around 14.3hh and will mature to 15hh. He is registered Tennessee Walking Horse and is 4 years old. I got Aspen from some older folks who raised him. He had raised and broke him all on his own. He said he had raised and broke a good number of colts in his life but Aspen was the smartest that he had ever worked with! Aspen has been trail ridden throughout state parks in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Ohio, and Virginia. He has been ridden in groups as large as 400 riders and been ridden on night rides as well. Along with trail riding we have had Aspen at lots of local fun shows tgis summer in all sorts of classes from the “catch your horse race”, musical feed sacks, the balloon pop, egg and spoon class, and the water glass class. He has saw it all from babies in strollers, to kids with balloons, flags flying in the air, kids running around… On the trail or around the rail, nothing bothers him! Aspen is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Just watch his video and you can see that Aspen is very safe and well broke to ride. He will walk slow and easy but will move out when asked. He has a very smooth 4-beat gait and can go up to 12mph. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. No matter where he goes or what he does, Aspen is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Aspen has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail.
