Precious elegance – Parero fire blended with Bellagio grace!

The dam Bellarous descends from a highly accomplished maternal line. Bellarous received a dressage premium as a three-year-old, scoring 9.5 for trot and 9 for canter. She is an Elite  *** performance mare with a dressage index of 145. Her eldest daughter, Gracious (by Grand Galaxy Win), received a dressage premium as a young horse and later was awarded breeding merit A. Voulezvous (by Valverde), Janeirous (by Janeiro Platinum), and Iqarous (by Iron) all received dressage premiums, and Forticious (by For Romance I) has medium-level B dressage competition records.


The grand-dam Jeanious received a dressage premium as a three-year-old, scoring 50 points, and again premium as a four-year-old at the young horse test. She competed in M-level dressage, has a dressage index of 161, and Elite status in breeding. Among her progeny is Despacitous (by Hesselhöj Donkey Boy), awarded dressage premiums at 3- and 4 years, and twice a Breeders Trophy finalist. She also produced Focus (by Floricello), Jiihous (by Jovian), and Soqrateous (by So Perfect), all of which were awarded dressage premiums. Soqrateous sold at SWB's Elite Foal Auction 2019.

The great-granddam Bettina received a dressage premium as a three-year-old and is a *** performance mare, with a dressage index of 134. She has produced 14 offspring whose achievements have earned her Elite status. She produced three full siblings by De Niro: Decorous (Grand Prix placings, exported to the US), Dexterous (Intermediaire I), and Delirious (Breeders Trophy and M-level B dressage). Ridiculous (by Blue Hors Romancier) received a dressage premium at the young horse test, placed in the National 3-Year-Old Mare Championships, and competed in M-level dressage. Bettina produced five additional offspring who competed in M-level dressage.

The 5-year-old stallion Parero is approved in several studbooks and comes from a powerful dam line. His dam, the Elite mare Bione, competed successfully in young horse classes before becoming a broodmare. She also produced Just on Time, who competed successfully at Intermediaire I with Lina Dolk. Bione has two full brothers who are successful in international dressage. Parero’s sire, Glock’s Toto Jr. N.O.P., was Totilas’ first approved son in Germany and has won both the Pavo Cup and international Grand Prix with scores over 80%. He has produced around 40 approved sons and several offspring that have competed at the World Young Horse Championships and advanced dressage levels.
