Check out this big, beautiful, broke gelding we call Spud! Spud aka “I RIGGED THE WORDS” is a flashy sorrel tobiano gelding standing at 15.2H weighing 1100lb.
Spud is ready to go in any direction you want! Whether you’re looking for a lifelong trail mount, a promising show prospect, or a fun relaxing ride at home, Spud is up for the task! This guy is full of personality and is as easy going as they come! We’ve rode spud through traffic, by a moving train, shot off guns, and so much more. Seriously, nothing bothers this guy! Talk about a flashy gelding- this guy turns heads everywhere he goes! Not only does he look good sitting out in the field but he’s a pretty mover too! Spud has a correct foundation under his belt. He’ll walk, trot, and canter inside or outside the arena, gives to the bit laterally and vertically, stops, backs, and is simple to ride! He has also been started on show maneuvers and over fences. Spud is extremely versatile and could excel in many different disciplines such as hunter jumper, English eq, fox hunting, mounted shooting, ranch riding, horsemanship, etc. The sky’s the limit with this guy!
Spud is very easy going and will ride off the same after having time off. He’s the first one to meet you at the gate and does well living inside or outside. He stands well to be bathed, saddled, shod, clipped, etc with no issues! Spud has no vices and requires no maintenance. He is UTD on vaccines, dental, coggins, worming, and shoes.
