Meet Maybelle — a stunning, intelligent young mare with a ton of potential. She’s been working on her ground manners for the past year and has been tacked, lunged, and lightly started under saddle (over 20 rides at 2 with her previous owner). My daughter rode her once and found her very responsive, but she’s still young and needs consistent time to grow and develop.

Maybelle is confident, curious, and always the first to the gate. She’s sweet but can be pushy, so she needs an experienced, assertive rider to guide her. She moves beautifully, is naturally balanced, and would make a fantastic project for someone looking to bring along a talented young horse.

She’s barefoot, an easy keeper, and UTD on vaccines and Coggins. She’s improving with the farrier — good with backs, still working on the fronts.

She’s not the right fit for me, as I’m too timid for her energy level, but in the right hands, she’ll shine.
