Blue is an 8-year-old registered pretty dapple grey gelding with Blue Valentine bloodlines. He stands 15.2HH and is a very well-mannered horse in the barn. If you are looking for your once in a lifetime horse that will nicker when he sees you coming, here he is. Blue hasn't been passed around from owner to owner all his life. I bought him directly off the guy that owned him as a baby and broke him. He was his personal horse all these years. He used him to trail ride all over with his grandkids in the buddy seat. Blue has mostly been ridden western, but I recently started riding him English and he is coming along nicely. With his size and movement, he would make a great fox hunting or jumping prospect. Blue neck reins and moves off leg cues. I just started throwing a rope off him. He has been used to push/sort and load cattle and rodeo bulls. He would make a great rodeo pickup horse as well. He has no fear of cattle. He is a little more of a forward type of horse so I would not recommend him for just the smallest of kids, but he has been ridden by a 10 year old girl. He is sound and has never had any health issues. Stands for the farrier (I have put shoes on him myself). Stands to bathe and clip. Don't miss him.
