Welcome to Birchlane, a small heritage breeding yard based in Ireland specialising in Traditional Irish Cobs, Falabellas, and miniature horses.
Our focus is on raising horses with kind temperaments, strong traditional type, quality bone, feather, movement, and correct conformation. Young horses are given time to develop naturally in a quiet herd environment, with an emphasis on long-term quality rather than rushing growth.
Alongside our traditional Irish Cobs, Birchlane is also home to a carefully selected group of Falabellas and miniature horses known for their refinement, character, and presence. These smaller horses are raised with the same care and attention as our cobs and are enjoyed by clients and enthusiasts worldwide.
Birchlane horses have travelled to homes across the UK, Europe, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Europe, Mauritius and beyond. Worldwide transport can be arranged and we are always happy to speak with knowledgeable owners and breeders.
Life at Birchlane is centred around traditional values, good horsemanship, and allowing horses the time they need to mature properly under Irish skies.
