In a recent campaign, <\/span>Iceland<\/b> substituted a <\/span>horse-written response<\/b> for out-of-office <\/span>emails<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A bizarre proposal from a tourism organisation allows users to request a personalised greeting <\/span>written by Icelandic horses<\/b> whenever they take a vacation from work. It was inspired by Iceland and <\/span>Horses of Iceland<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Choosing the most suitable Icelandic horse employee<\/b><\/h2>\n

One of the three horses assigned to the service, called <\/span>OutHorse<\/b>, handles email duties. <\/span>Litla Stjarna fr\u00e1 Hvtarholti<\/b> is described as a “fast typer yet might take a nap.” Another horse, <\/span>Hrmnir fr\u00e1 Hvammi<\/b> is “assertive, efficient,” and in addition to that has shiny hair. For people who work in a business setting, <\/span>Hekla fr\u00e1 \u00deorkellsh\u00f3li<\/b> is an excellent option because the horse is sociable and “trained in corporate buzzwords.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by Iceland created a <\/span>massive imitation keyboard<\/b> with specially made tiles that the horses could walk on to teach them how to type. “Icelandic horses are a really <\/span>unique breed<\/b>. It’s one of the world’s most <\/span>pure-bred <\/b>breeds,\u201d according to <\/span>Jelena Ohm<\/b> of Icelandic Horses.<\/span><\/p>\n

The campaign was launched in response to <\/span>Inspired by Iceland’s survey<\/b>, which revealed that at least <\/span>55% of employees<\/b> check their emails while travelling. The organisation claimed their goal is to <\/span>raise awareness<\/b> of how crucial it is to<\/span> completely unplug<\/b> from work when on vacation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fame on Social Media<\/b><\/h2>\n

OutHorse<\/b> has received praise for being<\/span> “genius”<\/b> on social media, with one Twitter user noting that it served as a reminder of how amazing Icelandic horses are.<\/span><\/p>\n
