They were called to free a horse from a feeding stall. The horse was trapped and could not free itself on its own.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Lustenau (Germany), a horse fell down in a wooden feeding stall. Due to the narrow walls on the left and right, it was <strong>unable to get up<\/strong> on its own.<br \/>\nFeeding stalls are a very popular device in open stables. They allow individual feeding of concentrated feed. Nevertheless, as in this case, they also <strong>harbour some dangers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The fire brigade was contacted immediately and a veterinarian also arrived. This was because the horse had been sedated beforehand to <strong>prevent further injuries<\/strong>. After this took effect, the entire feeding stall was dismantled.
