Red is a 6-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding. He is an absolute delight not only to ride but also to be around. This boy wants to be your best friend and is always happy to greet you at the pasture gate. He stands a solid 16.2hh.
Red is an extremely versatile horse. He will walk, trot, and canter with just a tap of your heel and stops with a simple “whoa.” He’s very light on his feet and soft in your hand. Red is as smooth as a couch, and his gaits are all balanced. He is a substantially built guy who is also very athletic. He has great bone structure and nice, big, solid hooves. He stands well for the farrier. Red has a beautiful face and a pleasant, kind eye. He has a calm yet willing nature. Take him out on the trails, down the road, for a hack out in the field, or for a ride in the arena he is an easygoing guy wherever you take him. Red would make an amazing hunt horse. He is great with kids and adults alike and will make you want to get out and ride. He is the type who can easily carry a bigger rider, as he takes up a lot of leg. Red also jumps.
