Meet Penny!! A registered AQHA red Dunn mare. She is 16 yrs old and 15 hands tall. She is a very unique colored red dun. She is a big stout thick girl. She is just as gentle and sweet as she is glamorous!! This mare is the true definition of gentle, safe, well-mannered, in your pocket, and is an absolute sweetheart!! Whether you’re looking for a horse for the whole family to hit the trails, a solid broke mount to go do a days work on, or a smooth ride to play around in the arena Penny is your girl!!! She has been used around ranches her whole life, making her very experienced and versatile! She’s great if rode once a week, once a month or even once every 6 months! She doesn’t get fresh. No tune up required. She’s the kind you can just jump on and go! Penny will go absolutely anywhere you point her, through rough rocky country, steep slippery slopes, thick brush, flowing waters, busy streets of town, you name it and she will go on through it without batting an eye and surefooted as can be! Cruise on down the trail with ease!! She is not only great to ride outside, she’s an absolute blast in the arena as well! She will walk, trot, and lope both ways with ease. Smoothly picks up both her leads, neck rein and has a good stop! Penny would be a great fit whether you’re 3 years old or 103 years old, a beginner rider or an experienced rider. She has been used to gather and sort cattle, and used for roping both in and out of the arena. She has absolutely no buck or bad habits. 100% sound. Sound to bred as well if you want to go that route. She is up to date on shots, worming, feet, teeth, etc. She is ready to go on to her new home and be enjoyed.
